About the Webinar: New California laws make it easier for single-family and multi-family property owners to earn rental income and add value to their properties by adding one or more accessory dwelling units (ADUs). About our Presenters:

Chris Paizis is Director of Operations for Adapt Dwellings and Edrington & Associates, responsible for sales, marketing, and customer service. As part of this role, Chris stays informed on the latest ADU laws and updates and creates much of the educational content provided to our prospects and customers. He conducts our initial phone consultations for ADU feasibility studies and helps property owners understand their options for adding value to their properties. Chris has over a decade of experience in business development and customer experience-focused roles and is passionate about increasing the housing supply in the Bay Area.




Philip Barthman has over 20 years of experience as an Alameda County Building Inspector and over 35 years as an electrician. He brings extensive experience in inspecting residential, commercial, and industrial projects to ensure compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and specifications. He specializes in evaluating illegal units, unsafe dwellings, and conversions of habitable and non-habitable spaces to provide property owners with guidelines for compliance.






Gracie O'Rourke is a California licensed architect with over 10 years of experience in both architecture and interior design of hospitality, commercial interiors, and high-end multifamily residential projects. Her main motivation is helping clients design their dream space no matter the size—especially when it comes to ADUs.
